It’s my hobby not my job!

Okay so Evenstar Plan A (to knit 10,000 stitches per month) ain’t happening so I’m switching to plan B which has no stitch count goals. I will work the Evenstar the first seven days of the month and finish as much as I can. I’ve been working about 4 hours this afternoon and have only worked 2 rows of 560 stitches. I’m on chart 3 and the knitting is slower. Chart 4 is the border and it will be beaded and even slower. Since knitting is my hobby and not my job, I decided to do away with the stitches-per-month goal.
In the evenings I’ve been working on my Candy Cane Skew Socks. I’m using make 1 right and make 1 left increases instead of the ones the designer used simply because I didn’t like her increases and think the make ones look about the same. I’m also thinking of using this pattern with some self-striping yarn in the future.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
