Dashing right along

I’m dashing right along with the Antler Cardigan. I’m a bit concerned because, as usual, my actual gauge is slightly larger than my swatch. I did measure another sweater that I wear frequently and determined that the extra ease will be fine. I can also make the button bands a bit smaller. I should be to the join row tomorrow and hopefully will finish by Thanksgiving. This means that I’ll be using the cardinal buttons but I’m very sure that I have a sweater project somewhere that will have those Oz buttons. I don’t wear yellow often but may have to make a yellow brick road cardi.

Several podcasters that I watch have discussed monogamous knitting vs polygamous knitting lately. I’m finding that monogamous knitting does seem to go much faster and less stressful. My problems with being totally monogamous are late night knitting and shop projects. I do try to stop with bigamy but every now and then I get really crazy.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
