Destination Eyelet Cardi, Day 19

No, I didn’t skip a day. The last post actually covered days 17 through 19. Not only do I fail at counting and reading patterns, I apparently can’t read a calendar either. I finished seven more rows of the Eyelet Cardi. I have about 5 more inches of body to go. Since Malabrigo is kettle-dyed, I’m alternating two skeins of yarn changing skeins every two rows. I am seeing a slight color variation. The change occurred at the end of the yoke so that it looks like it’s supposed to be that way.

Detour

I should finish the baby surprise jacket tomorrow. I’d planned to finish today but decided to go see The Lorax this afternoon. I really enjoyed the movie. I saw the 3D version and felt the effects were worth the extra charge. I will be casting on another buttons cardigan when the baby surprise jacket is finished.

Also since I went to the movies today, I’ll start the Easter weekend pajama party Friday afternoon. I’m hoping for a sunny weekend so I can finish and block the four or five projects that are piled on my kitchen table which is the gathering place for projects awaiting blocking/finishing.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
