Destination Loopy Laces, Days 7-10

Sometimes life gets in the way and it has over the weekend. I was away from home quite a bit and, when home, most of my time was spent sleep knitting.I knitted a few rows on the Loopy Laces on day 7 and 2 rows on day 8. I love this yarn and I love this pattern but they’re too busy to be used together. The pattern is taking away from the beauty of the yarn, and the beautiful stitch patterns are lost in the colors of the yarn. Since the socks are for me, I’m going to finish them. In future, when I have a lively colored yarn, I’ll go with a plain vanilla sock.

Detours

Since I had quite a bit of knitting in public time, I did work quite a bit on Buttons. Also on Day 7 and day 9 I worked on 198 yards of heaven. I plan finish the shawl this evening (day 10) even if I don’t work on Loopy Laces. Then the next 3 days I’ll use charity time to work on the Loopy Laces socks which should help me catch up..

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
