I’m flapped and moving on up the leg–translated “I’ve finished the heel flap and started up the leg of the sock.” I tried a new technique this time. When I finish the heel flap and start knitting in the round again, in the past I’ve picked up a stitch between the two needles and knitted 2 together on the next round. This eliminates the holes that I always seem to have at the “join.” I read on Pinterest that you could cross stitches here so I tried it and it appears to have worked well. On day 7 I hope to work 24 rows of the leg.
I worked 10 rows of 198 Yards of Heaven. I hope to continue to work 8 to 10 rows each day. If so, I should finish in 4 more days.
They are legitimate. Remember that some exceptions existed for some yarns that I could purchase? My Shakespeare in Lace Shawl Club yarn came in the mail yesterday. May Dream Club is laceweight so I ordered mine today. I’m only ordering the lace and fingering weight Dream Club selections. They don’t really count as stash, right?
Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
