Traveling On

Augusta Cardigan is as finished as it’ll be till mid-March. It’s now languishing on my kitchen table which is where all 0ff-the-needles objects sleep until they’re blocked and/or assembled. My Augusta was knit from Cascade 220 Superwash Worsted on size 8 US needles. Since the second sleeve looks pretty much like the first one, I’ll wait and post a picture of the completed sweater later.

I had one of those nights where I couldn’t sleep so at 1:30 am I cast on Loopy Laces Socks in Seacoast Iris Garden and worked about 16 rows of the toe. It’s the merino superwash base and was purchased in 2007. The plan is to be at this destination for 10 full days. Then I’ll depart for destination Cloud Chaser.

I posted earlier that I was taking the Draped Vest project out of the queue. I’m replacing it with Hey, Teach!

Detour

I have started the garter ridge border of South Park Throw 2.  It will be finished tonight. I will then knit a couple of shawls using 198 yards of heaven from Cascade Pacific.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
