Augusta Revisited, Day 14

It has snowed! Can we get on with springtime now or even go back to our nice mild winter?  Today I started the cap shaping on sleeve 1 and should be able to finish the cap on day 15. The sleeve measured about 17 inches when I made the first bind off. I’m looking forward to working a pair of socks next.

I worked on the buttons cardigan at the shop today. I’m working the yoke increases. I also worked 8 rows of  South Park Throw 2. I want to make a shawl for a special person and caught myself looking at sock yarn at the shop today. Now I know that sock yarn doesn’t count as stash but I don’t need to buy sock yarn for this shawl. I’m very sure that I have some in stash that can be used. So before my return to the shop on Friday, I’ll make a selection for this project. I’m also considering making power socks for this person in lieu of a shawl.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
