Augusta Revisited, Day 12

I finished the right front of the Augusta and worked 10 rows of sleeve on day 12. I hope to finish both sleeves by day 16. Since I usually assemble on Saturdays, it may be a while before Augusta is completely finished due to my teaching schedule. Like most knitters, I’m not fond of assembly and, somehow, doing it first thing on Saturday morning seems to work better for me. The front is pinned in the picture but not blocking. I pinned it so that the cables would show up.

Detour

I finished the Lacy Shawl. I’d hoped that it would be larger than it is. I suspect that it will never be a prayer shawl, but it may become a scarf for Chase the Chill Greensboro or a hat for a child at Pine Ridge Reservation. I’m resuming work on South Park Throw 2 and hope to finish it by next weekend.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
