Augusta Revisited, Days 8 and 9

I finished the left front of the Augusta and cast on the right front and worked one pattern repeat. The yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash and needle size is US 8. Sorry I turned the flash off so the cables would show up. Apparently this causes focus problems. I’m liking this sweater and hope to finish it by day 15 or 16. Then I’ll cast on the Loopy Laces socks.

Detours

The South Park Throw 2 is hibernating. I’ve cast on Lacy Prayer Shawl by Kathleen Cubley. I’m using Berroco Vintage and size 9 needles. This is a free pattern from Knitting Daily. I couldn’t find it on Ravelry so have no link. This is for a church member who is in Hospice House. The pattern is pretty simple and  I’ll add a garter ridge border so that it won’t roll up.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
