Destination Acer, Day 4

I only worked about 8 rows of Acer tonight. I worked at Gate City Yarns this afternoon then spent the evening sleep-knitting. I did finish the 1×2 ribbing of the yoke. Tomorrow is Saturday so hopefully I’ll catch up.

You’ll notice that I’ve added a list called Detours in the sidebar. These are charity knitting projects. For a number of years, I set aside two hours each day for charity knitting projects. A little over a year ago I stopped doing this. I still did charity knitting but not on a daily basis. I stopped because I decided that multi-task knitting–having several projects on the needles at the same time–was becoming stressful. Knitting is a hobby and should not be stressful.

Recently I began to feel guilty that I wasn’t knitting more charity items.  So I’ve decided to start charity knitting on a daily basis. Detours are charity projects. I’ll be reporting progress on them on this page also. And, yes, I’m multi-tasking right now but the TTL Mystery KAL will last only 5 weeks. This will also mean that knitting through the queue will take longer, but I need to be charity knitting on a regular basis.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks. just knits.
