Destination Afterthought Heel Socks, Day 1

I worked 68 rows of my Afterthought Heel Socks. I’m working them in Vesper Sock Yarn colorway Far Away.  I’m ready to work the waste yarn “row” for the heel.

Since I need to average 54 rows per day to finish in seven days, I’m hoping on day 2 to work at least 40 rows. I’m working at Gate City Yarns today. Sometimes working at the yarn shop brings on early onset sleep-knitting which means I don’t knit much on yarn shop days.

Tomorrow is Saturday. I can have a non-public clothes day so can catch up if I fall behind. The plan is to block and finish some projects. The work table is groaning with projects needing blocking, but I definitely need to finish the three children’s gift sweaters.

Till next time, no frogs, no tinks, just knits.
